his Porsche 997 Carrera GTS Coupé is one of those cars that begins telling its story even before it is driven.

Perhaps the detail that best sums up its character is one chosen by its first owner from the very beginning: the personalised aluminium door sill bearing the words “EVERY CAR TELLS A STORY.” A sentence that, years later, seems almost to have become the guiding theme of the car’s entire life.

Delivered new by the Porsche Centre in Berlin to a company based in Hamburg, the car remained with its first owner until 2019. It was then acquired by a second custodian near Nuremberg before passing, in 2023, to its third and most recent owner, a dentist and true enthusiast of cars with a distinctive character, drawn to automobiles that stand out through specification, originality and personality.

And it is precisely the specification that makes this Carrera GTS so interesting.

The exterior is finished in Dunkelblau, paired with an interior fully trimmed in Natural Brown, an elegant, warm and decidedly unconventional choice for a GTS. The contrast between the deep blue bodywork and the rich brown interior creates an exceptionally refined overall appearance, far removed from the more common configurations and immediately recognisable.

But the individuality of this example goes far beyond the colour combination alone. The car was extensively configured through Porsche Exclusive, with a remarkably long list of “X” option codes covering numerous interior and exterior details. The wheels, together with several other elements, were also specified in the body colour, creating a highly coherent, almost bespoke result in which every detail appears to have been considered as part of one complete vision.

The interior is perhaps the most fascinating aspect of the entire car. Natural Brown gives the cabin a very distinctive atmosphere, bringing an unusual sense of elegance to a 997 GTS without compromising its sporting character. It is this balance between the technical nature of the GTS and the refinement of the Porsche Exclusive specification that makes the car so special.

At its core, of course, remains one of the most desirable versions of the 997 generation: a Carrera GTS Coupé powered by the naturally aspirated flat-six producing 408 hp, combining performance, driver involvement and a more focused character than the standard Carrera models.

Today, the car presents in excellent condition. The bodywork is free from scratches, marks or significant imperfections, while the interior remains exceptionally fresh and well preserved. The leather, trim and individual details all reflect the care with which the car has been maintained throughout its life.

The car also remains completely original in every respect, with no modifications or alterations from its factory specification, and is accompanied by a complete Porsche service history, allowing its life and maintenance to be documented with continuity.
